Explanada de España
The Explanada de España runs parallel to the Marina, offering a unique atmosphere. This promenade is flanked by rows of palm trees, creating a visually appealing and shaded landscape that allows for a wide variety of shots. The Explanada’s pavement is decorated with 6,600,000 tricolored marble tiles forming a wave-like mosaic, evoking the movement of the sea and providing a distinctive and vibrant backdrop.
Availability for Filming
To shoot at Alicante’s most iconic promenade, it is necessary to contact the Alicante Film Office, which facilitates the necessary permits and procedures for filming in the city.
Best Days for Filming
- Weekdays, particularly early in the morning, when there are fewer visitors.
- Avoid weekends and the months of July and August, when the Alicante Handicraft Fair and other summer activities attract a large number of people.
- Filming is not recommended between June 20 and 24, during the celebration of Alicante’s main festival, Las Hogueras de San Juan.
Spring and autumn offer ideal weather conditions and a lower density of visitors.
